Hi, I’m Mrs. V

“I would be a poor teacher before I was a rich anything else! I absolutely love to teach”

Tamica Vasconez, B.S

Founder/Director

Mrs. Tamica Vasconez is the Founder of Achievers Learning Academy and a lifelong educator with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to helping students learn, grow, and succeed.

Her passion for education began in Brooklyn, New York, where she worked with youth through tutoring and mentorship. These early experiences strengthened her belief that every child deserves patience, encouragement, and an educational environment where they feel supported and capable of achieving great things.

Mrs. Vasconez continued her educational journey at Marymount Manhattan College, where she studied Elementary Education. After relocating to Atlanta, she expanded her experience in the field of education, specializing in early childhood learning and working with students ranging from infants through 8th grade. She later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Vasconez has remained committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that meet the needs of every student. She believes children thrive when they are challenged academically, supported by caring educators, and given the confidence to discover their strengths.

This vision inspired the creation of Achievers Learning Academy — a school built around strong academics, personal attention, and a commitment to helping students reach their highest potential. Through dedicated teachers, small class sizes, and a nurturing school community, Mrs. Vasconez continues to ensure that every student is known, valued, and encouraged to succeed.

Her passion for teaching is reflected in the motto that has guided her throughout her career:

“I would be a poor teacher before I was a rich anything else. I absolutely love to teach.”

Today, Mrs. Vasconez continues to lead Achievers Learning Academy with the same passion and dedication that started her journey over two decades ago — creating a place where students are inspired to learn, grow, and become confident leaders of tomorrow.
